A funny thing happened on the way to the polls, and this is why our story about the homes of the presidential candidates will indeed include Kanye West, aka “Yeezy.”
Ironically, since Kanye buys so many homes we’ll be limiting this to our top 3 homes of each candidate. Apparently, Ye has some sort of impulse-buying thing going on when it comes to real estate, but that’ll be another story for another day.
Joe Biden

Joe and Jill Biden’s Main Residence
Greenville, Delaware
Nestled along a lake and recessed from the road by a long private drive, the 6,800-square-foot home took more than two years to build and Mr. Biden has said he designed it himself.

During these crazy Covid-19 times, ‘Ol Joe has been taking a lot of ribbing about hiding in his basement. To be fair, if most of us had a basement like him, we’d be in heaven.

What is now Joe’s refurbished rec room, that alone hints at an ice-cold keg on tap and peanut shells covering the floor?
We’ll let our imagination run rampant and guess he also has that painting of the 5 dogs playing poker hanging on a wall.
Fun little fact; that painting was part of a 1903 series of sixteen oil paintings commissioned by Brown & Bigelow to advertise cigars.

We’re not quite sure our top 5 interior designers in Chicago would approve of this painting as trendy basement decor. Regardless, Joe loves his dogs. Working beside 2 of his best buddies- German shepherds named Major and Champ, he uses his television-quality video uplink to take care of business.
Until past President Obama hits the campaign trail for him, Major and Champ will remain his BFFs.
Beach House
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
This is the beach house Joe and Jill Biden bought on the Delaware Shore for $2.7 million. Located on a large secluded lot, the house overlooks Cape Henlopen State Park and is just a couple of blocks from the beach. the three-story home has six bedrooms, expansive porches, and views of the Atlantic Ocean.

There are also 3 indoor fireplaces, lovely porches that provide indoor/outdoor living, multiple decks, an outdoor kitchen with a stone patio & fireplace, an elevator, a security system, a golf cart, outdoor showers, and a doggy wash.

Washington D.C. Rental
Taking care of Gov business, you need to be at least within driving distance of Washington D.C. Although not officially residing there anymore, the Bidens’ rented this sprawling home in McLean, Virginia. Maybe because it looks like a scaled version of the White House?

This is an upscale suburb outside D.C. that encompasses some serious players in the government world. Senators, Supreme Court justices, and diplomats are among its residents.
Sprawled out over 12,000 square feet, the five-bedroom mansion has a gym, sauna, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a driveway big enough for 20 cars.
Donald Trump
Trump Tower Penthouse
New York City
Located in Midtown Manhattan, New York the Trump Tower is a 58-floor, 664-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper.

Trump’s residence is a three-level penthouse 58 stories up at the top of Trump Tower. Barron, his son, reportedly has a floor all to himself.
The penthouse was modeled after the Palace of Versailles, with rococo decor and a profuse amount of gold. The Donald is big on gold, it’s everywhere you look.

Mar-a-Lago
Palm Beach, Florida
Spanning 3 acres, Mar-a-Lago is the 128-room mansion built by cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post in 1927.
Trump also dubbed it the official Winter White House on Twitter. So it must be true (insert the emoji of your choice here). When it comes to the homes of the presidential candidates, this real estate rocks.

Marjorie Merriweather actually donated the property to the U.S. government upon her death, but in 1980 it was returned to Post’s daughters because of the $1 million in annual maintenance costs.
Trump bought the 17-acre property for $5 million in 1985 and turned it into a private club ten years later. Somebody got a deal.

He then added a 20,000-square-foot ballroom with $7 million of gold leaf and spent $100,00 on four gold-plated sinks. See? More gold.
Now a private club, members pay a $100,000 initiation fee plus yearly dues of $14,000 and an annual food minimum of $2,000. I
f you’re worried about not meeting the food and beverage minimum, order one of these fine California cult wines. That should help you break the bank.
Trump National Golf Club
Bedminster Township, New Jersey
The Bedminster Golf Club consists of the main house, which is a private club open to members (at a reported cost of $300,000).

The Trump family owns cottages on the property and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner got married there in 2009, so you know the grounds are stellar.

Kanye West
Gotta give props to Ye, being able to get on the presidential ballot in 12 states just as an afterthought. On that note, it’s easy to see how his mover and shaker skills work in real estate. In fact, his heart is now set on being a real estate developer and already has some prototype projects underway.
The Minimalist Mansion
Hidden Hills, Los Angeles, CA
Kanye and Kim Kardashian West bought a home in Hidden Hills for $20 million in 2014. Hidden Hills is a secluded community filled with past and present celebs including Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Howie Mandel, and the Osbournes.
The mansion is their primary residence and spans 15,667 square feet.
Right after West’s ninth studio album dropped at the end of October 2019, Variety reported that the couple expanded their Hidden Hills compound by purchasing a nearly $3 million ranch-style home on 1.49 acres.

Jackie Nickerson
Monster Lake Ranch
Cody, Wyoming
Stretching over more than 1,400 acres, the ranch features a restaurant and saloon, horse barns, and a state-of-the-art shooting range. Sounds like there’s a new sheriff in town!

J.P. King Auction Company
The couple also bought another ranch about 100 miles away, just a guess, but most likely just in case Kanye’s ever in the doghouse with Kim. Regardless, riding off into the sunset really happens at this getaway.

J.P. King Auction Company
Miami Beach Condo
This was actually a deal that fell through, but the place is so beautiful we’ll mention it anyway. After all, Kanye does have impeccable taste in homes.
In 2018, Kanye put down a deposit on this $14 million condo in the luxurious Faena House on Miami Beach and planned to put a nice bow on it (allegedly) for Kim as a Christmas gift.
Talk about a non-refundable gift – he lost a substantial deposit on this home. The rumor mill says about $600,000. Yikes, Ye.
The four-bedroom, 4,700-square-foot South Beach condo has floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound terrace.

Faena House is an 18-story, ultra-luxury, oceanfront condo tower with 44 bespoke condo residences.
A mere 1 bedroom condo here starts at a cool $2.5 million, so you know the view and balconies alone are premium amenities.
