Hotels and resorts want to keep the ball rolling so many of them (thousands actually) have created work-from-home packages where you can get a room at a luxury hotel or resort and still have all the necessities to handle your 9-5.

The beauty is that you can do this while also enjoying a cocktail and taking a quick dip in a pool.

It’s not like the boss is just gonna pop in on you. In fact, given some of these locations, there just might be a lounge chair on the beach that has “workstation” written all over it.

What’s A Workation Package Look Like?

Depending on how extreme you want to go, like taking private flights to the hotel or resort, these packages generally include a luxury room, high-speed WiFi, and a day rate that’s easy to swallow.

You can even check out at 5 pm without staying overnight. Some places also offer rooms with a large monitor that you can attach to your laptop.

Room service delivering cocktails might not be mimicking the office you’re used to working out of, but it’s a brave new world out there. Embrace it!

MGM-owned Bellagio and the ARIA Hotel and Resorts – Las Vegas, NV

Called “Viva Las Office,” you can now take that Vegas trip and be productive at the same time. You get a room that is office-ready with fast and secure wi-fi, a desk, and plenty of video meeting-worthy backdrops to fool the boss with on those Zoom meetings.

You can also check in as early as 8 am and check out as late as 6 pm for no extra charge. There are other perks as well, such as getting up to $375 in Food & Beverage Credits, and the concierge is magically transformed into your own “Executive Assistant” who will help you make reservations and schedule that well-deserved massage.

So if you happen to be heading over to Las Vegas from the west coast, you can get discounts on semi-private flights leaving out of their easy access private terminals.

Just drive up to the JSX terminal, valet your car, and stroll through their check-in process in minutes. In fact, 20 minutes is all you need to get from the curb to your seat. Lucky you!

The Viva Las Office offer is good through February 2, 2021, and packages start at US$101.00 per night with a 3-night minimum stay. Certain restrictions apply.
