Planning on a trip to Hollywood, California to search for the stars? Fuuggetaboutit. You’ll have better luck at these favorite celebrity beach hangouts.
Hey, we love Hollywood and you actually might have seen some stars if you hit the hot restaurants or trek along Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
However, if I were a betting man, I’d say we need to do a little globetrotting and hit these beautiful beaches. Worst-case scenario? There is no worst-case scenario. In fact, if you cruise around on some live stream cams, you might be able to get a preliminary glance at some of these places.
Turtle Island – Fiji
This South Pacific paradise is your best bet for celeb sightings – if you have the money and connections to actually touch the sand here. Pop stars like Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson have secured spots on the privately-owned island, which allows only 28 guests at a time.
Here you’ll enjoy 500 acres of serene forests and pristine beaches. Get on this list and it should be a no-brainer running into you-know-who.
At this exclusive paradise, you’ll come to know it as the Fijian way of life. Especially when you meet your Bure Mama – your personal concierge, Fijian host, and lifelong friend who will look after you, ensuring you have everything you desire.
If you like, she guides you on island tours and even accompanies you on snorkeling excursions pointing out marine life. In the evening, she’ll join you around the kava bowl for storytelling and songs. Sounds like a Bure Mama beats a London hotel butler hands down as I don’t think butlers sing to you.

Bora Bora – Society Islands of French Polynesia
Known for its turquoise lagoons and luxury over-the-water thatched bungalows, Bora Bora was made for R & R. Country music superstar Maren Morris and hubby Ryan Hurd spent their honeymoon here, as did Benedict Cumberbatch and wife Sophie Hunter as well as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
This is a hot celebrity beach hangout for the privacy that these over-the-water bungalows provide.
Bora Bora attracts stars like the Kardashians, Nicole Kidman, Eva Longoria, Rob Lowe, Sharon Stone, and Charlize Theron (also one of our top celebrity endorsers). That’s some serious star power on these pristine beaches!
Crystal clear lagoons, soft white sands, and deep tangerine sunsets are the main attraction for celebrities here.
If you prefer, mingle with tropical fish as you dive into Coral Gardens or cruise Tupitipiti Point.
Make sure you take in beautiful views of the once-volcanic Mount Otemanu. At the Lagoonarium you can watch shark feedings and swim with turtles. NOT ok to mix up those two.

Lake Como – Italy
Lake Como, also known as Lario, is a lake of glacial origin in Lombardy, Italy. Technically a lakeshore, it’s still home and a hangout to the rich and famous.
For us, George Clooney comes to mind, who calls his oceanfront 18th-century villa home. One of them anyway.
Celeb-spotting aside, Lake Como is known for its amazing natural beauty, elegant old villa – and the scenic towns surrounding the lake.
Check out Varenna, Bellagio, and Menaggio, which offer great views, historic churches, and water-based activities such as ferries and passenger-only boats.
A gorgeous spot that’s a convenient day trip from Milan, Lake Como is the third-largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore.
Also the fifth deepest lake in Europe, and the deepest outside Norway. So what’s down there at the bottom? Who knows, but you can stop thinking about George Clooney now.
As long as you’re trouncing around Italy, a stellar spot to look for celebs is San Domenico Palace in the Sicilian town of Taormina, thanks to HBO’s The White Rose.

St. Barthelemy – Overseas collectivity of France in the Caribbean
Christopher Columbus added St. Barts to his collection in 1493, but the French soon stepped in.
Today, the chic Caribbean island – officially a department of France – is a popular getaway for celebrities.
Here you’ll find glitzy nightlife and glamorous sunbathing at St. Jean beach where you can rub elbows with celebrities like Jay-Z and Beyonce or Jessica Alba, who dock their yachts at the glistening port.
This arid, volcanic rock of just eight square miles is home to an eclectic mix of iguanas, night-blooming cactus, and fabulous beaches as well as luxury yachts, designer boutiques, and celebrities of course.

Rio de Janeiro – Brazil
Rio’s enticing beaches are a major attraction to Hollywood Stars like Madonna, Gerard Butler, Penelope Cruz, and Javier Bardem.
You might catch a glimpse while they come and go to Rio’s Ipanema Beach for a piece of tropical paradise and the Copacabana Beach for a livelier vibe.
Just past Copacabana beach, you’ll reach the decidedly more upscale neighborhood and beach Ipanema, made famous by the catchy tune “The Girl from Ipanema.” Maybe it’s that song that brought fame here, making this is a favorite celebrity beach hangout.
Ipanema is where you’ll want to see and be seen. By now you probably have a couple of songs stuck in your head that you didn’t ask for. Blame it on Rio.
